Hello

My name is Michelle Ann Rakieten and I am M.A.R.'s Designs. I started my small business adventures during the pandemic. I have slowly grown the business one customer at a time. Quality and performance are what I strive for in my finished products. I love the opportunity to meet customers needs and I am not afraid of a challenge when it comes to refinishing, refurbishing or updating vintage spaces and items.

My Story

I have been painting professionally for two plus years. I have experience in indoor and outdoor painting: ceilings, walls, cupboards, brick, wood, metal, vinyl, plastic, decks, fencing, barns, garages and more.

I collect vintage, worn down wood furniture and then sand, repair and paint the piece to give it a new look and second life! I do pieces on site upon request.

I have been sewing with a machine for just over a year. I love to create new, colorful pieces to be: worn, hung, displayed and enjoyed by my customers. Sewing projects are displayed on the Project page, Home Decor page and the Mask page.
